About Warrnambool Physio

Our Philosophy

We aim to treat all people with the same level of skill, understanding, knowledge, compassion, empathy and dedication. From elite athletes to injured workers, we pride ourselves on our team led treatment approach. It is so important to listen to your patient first, understand their problem/s, then work together to develop a plan that will best suit the problem, the client and the expected outcome.

We are all firm believers that in most cases, some sort of exercise is the key to getting better. The human body is designed to move, and modern life has done its best to make this movement to survive obsolete. We sit for long periods, we stand and make repetitive movements all day, we drive for hours at a time. We all lead busy lives and it’s really difficult to find the time to exercise.

At Warrnambool Physiotherapy, understanding these individual needs is important to your overall management. Just like you, we are busy too; work, kids, sport etc. We understand!

What is Physiotherapy?

Our team of Physios have all spent a substantial amount of time at university, understanding the how’s, why’s and what’s of the human body. We all have an interest in sport, therefore bringing first hand experience to the way that the body moves and behaves when moving well and when injured. We also understand the frustration of injury, sport, life or work, and will do our best to minimise your time out.

We will use our ability to talk and listen along with our clinical skills and understanding of anatomy, physiology and disease to devise a treatment plan aimed at restoring/maintaining your best health.

We are constantly undertaking further education (each physiotherapist has to complete a minimum of 20 hours of education per year) in areas that interest us and benefit you. Keeping our skills up to date and our knowledge base current is vitally important to patient outcomes.
